The Group is present in the banking sector through Attijariwafa Bank, ranked second after Banques Populaires Group. Attijariwafa Bank concentrates the majority of its activities in Morocco, but has representative offices in various European countries. With the acquisition of 53.54 percent stake in Banque du Sud by the Attijariwafa Bank/Grupo Santander Consortium, the bank currently has several branches in Tunisia as well.
