Fromagerie des Doukkala
FROMAGERIE DES DOUKKALA

Fromagerie des Doukkala is specialized in producing and selling cheese. It is widely known in the Moroccan market through several products such as « Cœur de Lait », « Carré Crème » and « Jebli». Owned 80% by Centrale Laitière and 20% by Bongrain Group, the company sells its products in export markets as well. The strong geographical presence of Bongrain throughout the world constitutes a powerful leverage for promoting its products overseas.  Fromagerie des Doukkala’s international strategy enabled the firm to build a diversified portfolio in terms of markets. The company exports several products to Libya, Egypt, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Liberia and Japan.
Fromagerie des Doukkala opted for a growth strategy through expanding its export target markets, while consolidating its market share in the domestic market. Fromagerie des Doukkala continues to diversify its products in the melted cheese segment as well as in the fresh cheese segment.  After the success of Sandwich’in and Jebli in 2003-2004, the firm extended its product line with Sandwich’in « sliced cheese » and Jebli « garlic, fine herbs and black pepper ».
